RAAM (Race Across America)-  Solo Attempt

The World's Toughest Bicycle Event

Start: Current plan (best case 2027) due health challenges

“Life is about creating chances, trying new things, having fun, making mistakes and learn from them.”

#BeYourCaptain

My journey to the Race Across America (RAAM) in one of the next years, is a testament to the power of dreams and the resilience of the human spirit. This endeavor is not merely about winning; it's a profound narrative about acting on your dreams, no matter how distant they seem.

For years, I harbored the dream of climbing Mount Everest, a dream echoing in the hearts of many. It's a universal yearning to achieve something extraordinary. However, life's twists and turns, especially the joy of fatherhood, led me to reevaluate my path. It wasn't about giving up on a dream; it was about transforming it into something equally meaningful yet more aligned with my life's journey.

Overcoming health challenges and personal setbacks, I found my new Everest in the RAAM. Qualifying for this event was not just a milestone; it was a beacon of hope, reigniting my belief in the limitless potential within us. My qualification is a message: you can achieve incredible feats, regardless of the obstacles.

"The twelve . one," my project's name, is symbolic of this journey. It represents the 12.1% of the Earth's circumference that I will traverse in RAAM, encapsulating the essence of my adventure. But more than that, it's a metaphor for life – we don't need to conquer the whole world to make a difference, just a part of it that resonates with our soul.

My motivation extends beyond personal achievement. I am committed to inspiring others to try, dream, and achieve. It begins with a simple but powerful mantra: "just do it." This isn't just about cycling or physical endurance; it's about the endurance of the human spirit, the will to overcome, and the courage to chase what seems impossible.

This journey is a call to action for everyone. It's an invitation to break free from self-imposed limits, to redefine the possible, and to boldly step towards your dreams.

Together, let's embark on this journey of transformation and triumph, proving that with determination and will, anything is possible.

In pursuit of dreams!

My motivation; I'm committed to inspire, try, dream and achieve. To make it simple, there are many ways we can work on our dreams and goals - it starts with a simple "just do it".

For that we need a mindset and will, that overrules everything, till it's done.
